This is my first time writing a critique, so go easy on me.
First of all, I would like to say that this is an amazing shot. From the way the jagged rocks contrast against the lines of her smooth, but firm body, to the way the light makes her hands and feet seem to blend with the colors of the sandstone they touch.
Now, on to the model. The lines this amazing woman can produce with her body continue to astound me. She is nothing less than a masterpiece made flesh, and I am honored to be able to see her work for my own eyes. The concentration it takes to maintain this posture must be challenging, but her expression, while focused, makes it seem effortless.
Together, the photographer's talent and the model's mastery of her own body, create for another amazing piece of art. I look forward to seeing more from both of you.
The rock face has huge amount of detail and two hues of grey and brown. The grey surfaces protrude in smooth lines and jagged edges, which reflect the muscular profile of the model. Almost all of her body is highlighted by her great physique and complements the rock face, the lack of any hair also adds symmetry to the whole image. There is coldness in the grey rock face which mixes well with her steely stare and strong, dominant position. The softer brown tones blend with the warmth of her femininity and beautiful body. Its a fantastic shot and works on many levels, as a sculpture, as a artistic nude, a combination of hard and soft
